Australian Ironbark has built a bit of a reputation over the years and not in a marketing spin kind of way. In a “people who rely on their fire every winter won’t burn anything else” kind of way.

It all comes down to density. Ironbark is one of the hardest hardwoods in Australia, which means it’s tightly packed with energy. When you light it, you’re not getting a quick flash of heat that disappears just as fast. You’re getting a slow, steady release that holds, builds and actually warms your space properly.

This is the wood you load up at night and still feel the benefit of in the morning.

One of the biggest advantages is how it burns down. Ironbark produces a deep, long-lasting coal bed, which is basically the holy grail for anyone running a slow combustion heater.
